2. About the Opportunity:
The VIP Events Associate supports the VIP hospitality and event programs by managing hospitality assets and assisting in the planning and execution of VIP events. This role creates opportunities to reward high-value customers and facilitates direct engagement between account managers and key players. The position ensures seamless coordination across teams and vendors, aligning event strategies with broader company goals. It has a direct impact on customer experience and business relationships through effective event delivery and post-event analysis.
3. Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute VIP events in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Act as liaison between stakeholders, departments, and suppliers to ensure event success
• Research and select venues, entertainment, and accommodations
• Support in-person event operations for smooth execution
• Align event strategies with company goals across product teams
• Collect and analyze post-event data to identify successes and areas for improvement
• Manage events led by account managers, including event production
• Oversee procurement, payment processing, and record keeping for events
• Review post-event recaps for data accuracy and timely submission
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives
4. Requirements:
• 2 to 4 years of experience in high-end event planning preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience managing budgets, vendor relations, and event assets
• Confident and people-oriented personality
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Proficient analytical skills and Excel experience
• Familiarity with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Asana, Salesforce, SharePoint)
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines consistently
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The applicable hourly range for this position is $28.85 to $36.06 USD, depending on experience, location, business needs, and market demand
• This role may include benefits such as medical, vision, dental, life and disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; and eligibility for short- and long-term incentive compensation including bonuses and stock programs
• Paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays are included
• Paid sick time provided in accordance with applicable laws
