Position: Lightworks – Post-Production Specialist
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $50–$100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate system-generated instructions for non-linear editing workflows, including trimming, edit operations, and media organization.
- Assess system understanding of advanced Lightworks features such as console editing, multi-camera workflows, and VFX routing.
- Validate export and delivery formats to ensure compatibility with professional editing standards and workflows.
- Test and troubleshoot system assistance across advanced post-production scenarios, including metadata and project collaboration.
- Provide expert feedback to improve visual effects workflows and color grading processes.
- Document findings and communicate insights clearly to support continuous workflow improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Lightworks with strong proficiency in keyboard-driven editing workflows.
- Deep knowledge of video production and post-production techniques.
- Strong experience in media management, including proxy workflows and asset organization.
- Hands-on experience with visual effects and color grading.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex post-production issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
