General Manager / Vice President – Portland, OR
We are representing a well-established and highly respected West Coast General Contractor seeking a General Manager / VP to lead and scale its Portland division.
This is a senior leadership opportunity offering full operational and financial control of a growing business unit, with direct access to executive leadership and a clear mandate for expansion.
The Opportunity
- Full P&L responsibility for a $60M Portland division spanning GC and Special Projects (SPD)
- Play a key role in a strategic growth plan to double divisional revenue within 4 years
- Contribute to the broader company vision of scaling from $400M to $750M+ in total revenue
- Lead expansion into new geographic markets and sectors
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy to develop client relationships and generate new revenue streams
- Work closely with a hands-on CEO and COO, both based in Portland

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the Portland division, including operations, business development, and financial performance
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams
- Drive revenue growth through both existing client relationships and new market entry
- Identify and execute strategic opportunities across new sectors and geographies
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term planning and operational strategy
Ideal Profile
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (GM, VP, PX, or Director level) within a GC environment
- Demonstrated success managing P&L and growing a business unit or region
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
