Vice President of Operational Excellence
Position Summary
The Vice President of Operational Excellence is a senior executive responsible for driving operational strategy, process optimization, and continuous improvement across the organization.
This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and performance by implementing best-in-class operational frameworks and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The VP partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline operations, improve productivity, and deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the company’s operational excellence strategy aligned with business goals
Drive enterprise-wide efficiency, productivity, and performance improvements
Support organizational scalability and long-term growth initiatives
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across all functions
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies)
Standardize workflows and operational procedures across departments
Performance Management & KPIs
Establish and monitor operational KPIs and performance metrics
Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Drive accountability and performance across teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with sales, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to improve performance
Align operational initiatives with business priorities and customer needs
Support execution of strategic projects and company-wide initiatives
Operational Systems & Tools
Implement and optimize systems, tools, and technologies to support operations
Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives
Ensure data accuracy and operational transparency
Cost Efficiency & Resource Optimization
Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service levels
Optimize resource allocation across departments
Support margin improvement through operational efficiency
Risk Management & Compliance
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards
Support governance frameworks and internal controls
Leadership & Organizational Development
Build and lead a high-performing operational excellence team
Define KPIs, processes, and accountability frameworks
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, or operational leadership roles
Proven track record in driving operational transformation and efficiency
Experience in retail, manufacturing, supply chain, or luxury industries is a plus
Core Competencies

Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
