We're looking for a UX Researcher who will work directly with customers to help them design and execute qualitative-unmoderated and moderated-research, such as diary studies, focus groups, IDIs, longitudinal panel studies, using Pulse Labs' proprietary tools and platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers to plan research projects according to customer requirements, timelines, and business goals
- Execute research projects ensuring sound research methodology and analysis
- Create Toplines, Scorecards, Executive Summaries, Final Reports, Slide Decks, etc.
- Provide support to customers throughout the research planning, execution, and delivery process that may include presenting research findings up to the Director or VP level
- Mentor and coach analysts on the UX Research Team
- Work closely with the Panel and Research Operations team members assigned to your projects to ensure execution is on track and data collected aligns with the requirements
- Analyze research study responses from participant videos and transcripts, surveys, and other study data to develop key research findings and recommendations for customers
- Collaborate with senior-level leaders to improve our internal processes with creative ideas and by sharing what you learn from the research you lead
- Provide feedback to the Design and Engineering teams about how to improve our internal tools and platforms
- 5+ years working in a qualitative research role in a detail-oriented research operations environment
- Expertise with data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Expertise leading complex, multi-faceted research projects
- Knowledge of the end-to-end research lifecycle, including research methods/approaches and common analyses, specifically those related to UX
- Prior success maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- High attention to detail and ability to recognize patterns and anomalies in qualitative and/or quantitative data
- Comfort presenting your own research and research prepared by others to senior-level stakeholders
- A strong sense of ownership, transparency, detail-orientedness, and ability to self-initiate
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills
- Very comfortable using emerging technologies and different software systems.
- High comfort working with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar products
- Collaborative attitude and ability to foster a positive work environment
- Experience and comfort working on a team of researchers as well as alongside operations personnel in a rapid-response, often ambiguous environment
- Undergraduate degree in psychology, research methods, human computer interaction, sociology, or related field.
- Masters Degree
- Experience working in an agency or consulting environment conducting research on behalf of customers
- Experience working at or with early-to-mid stage startups
- Experience working at or with FAANG/top tech companies
