About the Role
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume hiring initiatives for First American Financial Corporation. This is a fast-paced, contract opportunity ideal for a recruiting professional who excels at candidate screening, managing multiple requisitions, and delivering a strong candidate experience in a remote environment.
The selected candidate must be based in the PST time zone to align with business operations and hiring teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support active requisitions including candidate review, dispositioning, and pipeline management
- Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and interest level
- Provide candidates with an overview of the role, hiring process, and next steps
- Document detailed screening notes and recommendations for recruiter review
- Coordinate interview scheduling and follow-ups to ensure timely hiring processes
- Partner closely with recruiters to maintain consistent candidate communication
- Post job openings and maintain accurate candidate data in the applicant tracking system
- Track candidate progress and ensure compliance with recruiting processes and documentation standards
- Assist with reporting, requisition updates, and recruiting-related projects
- Support high-volume hiring needs with quick turnaround timelines
- Collaborate with recruiters, coordinators, and HR partners to ensure seamless hiring execution
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR support
- Experience conducting phone screens and managing multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with a candidate-focused approach
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, including Workday
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume or operational recruiting environments
- Prior contract recruiting or recruiting coordinator experience
- Familiarity with corporate hiring processes and compliance standards
- Experience with Phenom is a plus
