The Opportunity
The Social Media Specialist plays a key role in shaping and executing social and influencer strategies for Impulso Media’s portfolio of clients. This position blends creativity with operational excellence — supporting the social media department through structured planning, organization, ideation, and coordination across creative, copy, and influencer teams.
Reporting to the Head of Social, the ideal candidate is someone who’s deeply plugged into digital culture and platform trends, yet highly organized and proactive in managing calendars, content workflows, and campaign execution. You’ll help bring big ideas to life while ensuring all moving parts stay on track — from ideation through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Ideation
- Collaborate with the Head of Social to develop monthly and quarterly social strategies, campaign themes, and storytelling directions.
- Research audience insights, competitors, and platform trends to inform strategic planning.
- Proactively pitch content ideas, campaign concepts, and influencer collaborations that align with brand goals.
- Bring a creative yet analytical approach to ideation, identifying what resonates and why.
Content Planning & Coordination
- Oversee the social content calendar process, ensuring timely planning, approvals, and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration between social, creative, copy, and account management teams.
- Provide clear direction, briefs, and timelines to ensure seamless execution by the social media coordinator and creative teams.
- Ensure campaigns, content assets, and deadlines are organized, documented, and progressing as planned.
- Support the preparation of strategy decks, social reports, and campaign presentations.
Influencer Sourcing & Campaign Management
- Research, identify, and vet influencers and creators who align with each client’s objectives.
- Coordinate outreach, briefing, and communication with influencers, ensuring deliverables and brand expectations are met.
- Track influencer content submissions, posting schedules, approvals, and campaign performance.
- Maintain an updated influencer database and ensure all contracts, usage rights, and deliverables are properly logged.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Review social and influencer performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support the creation of performance reports highlighting engagement, growth, and campaign insights.
- Collaborate with the Head of Social to refine strategies based on analytics and learnings.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with creative and copy teams to ensure social content is cohesive, high-quality, and on-brand.
- Assist in developing creative briefs and gathering inspiration for new campaigns or shoots.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure deliverables and feedback are aligned.

Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management, strategy, or influencer coordination.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and analytics tools.
- Proven experience managing calendars, workflows, and campaign deliverables across multiple brands.
- Highly organized with strong communication and project management skills.
- Familiarity with scheduling and reporting tools (Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Experience sourcing and coordinating influencers or creator campaigns.
- Strong understanding of content performance metrics and optimization strategies.
- Comfortable collaborating with creative and copy teams to bring campaigns from concept to execution.
