Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development and sales strategies targeting defense and security agencies across Southern Europe.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for thermal satellite data.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with government, intelligence, and defense stakeholders.
  • Lead capture efforts, proposal development, and technical solution alignment with customer mission needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Program teams to tailor offerings and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving defense priorities in the region.
  • Represent Aistech Space at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand presence and networks.


Key Skills and Experience

  • 5-10 years of business development experience in defense, intelligence, or government sectors, ideally focused on Europe.
  • Proven success closing complex, long-term contracts with defense and security agencies.
  • Deep knowledge of ISR, GEOINT, space domain awareness, and satellite surveillance technologies.
  • Experience navigating government procurement and potentially classified environments.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with thermal satellite or remote sensing technologies.
  • Experience with AI/ML analytics in defense applications.
  • Established network within European defense and intelligence communities.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
  • Active participation in regional defense and space industry forums.

Preferred place of residence: Firstly, Barcelona or but could also be anywhere else in Spain (possibility of remote working if you do not live in Barcelona) or possibility of relocation to Spain.
