Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and servant-leader-oriented Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and support high-performing development teams. In this role, you will guide teams in adopting Scrum principles, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
- Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices
- Identify and remove impediments that may hinder team progress
- Promote collaboration and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
- Track and report on team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts)
- Support Product Owners in backlog grooming and prioritization
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and organizational standards
- Assist in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams if applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM)
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience working with cross-functional or distributed teams
- Knowledge of scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
