We are seeking a motivated Sales Manager Surgery to lead our South Sweden sales team, drive market expansion, and deliver innovative surgical solutions to our customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a field-based Sales team across the South Sweden region to achieve ambitious sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and execute regional strategic plans that drives sustainable growth in the southern market.
- Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain top talent; provide ongoing coaching and performance management.
- Build and deepen long-term relationships with key customers (surgeons, hospitals, operating rooms) and cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with marketing, clinical specialists, and other sales teams to implement product launches and competitive strategies.
- Represent Johnson & Johnson at conferences, seminars, and customer events (local and international).
- Manage budgets, forecast accurately, and follow up and monitor KPIs to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliant, ethical, and patient-focused sales activities in line with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Several years of work experience within the healthcare sector, preferably within sales in medical technology or devices.
- Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits is required.
- Valid Driver’s license and able to travel within the region.
- Proven leadership experience in medical devices or surgical sales, with a track record of team development and meeting/exceeding targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Swedish healthcare landscape; established network within the surgery/operating room.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans, coach others, and drive results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Swedish and proficient in English.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a coaching mindset.
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Deep understanding of surgical products, workflows, and the ability to translate clinical value into customer outcomes.
- Relationship-builder who can influence at all levels, from frontline clinicians to hospital administrators.
- High integrity, customer-centric mindset, and a passion for improving patient care.
