Job Title: Regulatory Analyst

Location: Hershey, PA (OPEN TO REMOTE OR HYBRID)

  • Remote: can sit anywhere - need to work EST hours
  • Hybrid: on site during the initial training period. After training, the expectation is to work in the office one to two days per week.

Duration: 9-12 months (potential to extend/convert - not guaranteed)


Job Description:

The Regulatory Analyst is responsible for reviewing and validating product regulatory information to ensure accuracy between on-pack labels and online content. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage and track data discrepancies across multiple systems. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain data integrity and support continuous improvement efforts in product information quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and proofread online regulatory information to ensure consistency with packaging labels.
  • Analyze data patterns and trends to assess the integrity and accuracy of product information.
  • Perform data validation using both automated and manual review processes.
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Document inconsistencies, log discrepancies, and conduct trend analysis for escalation to leadership.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of all products online.


Typical Day:

  • Daily tasks include reviewing product images and online regulatory data for consistency, managing data logs, tracking discrepancies, and analyzing error trends. The role involves consistent communication with regulatory teams and leadership to ensure data accuracy across digital and physical platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in regulatory analysis, food science, or data validation (preferably within the food industry)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple data sources and identify inconsistencies
  • Experience working in a repetitive or highly detail-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory systems such as SmartLabel or ScanBuy (preferred but not required).
