Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in recruiting or a similar human resources role
- Demonstrated expertise in recruitment best practices and search leadership
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client and candidate relationships
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based training tools
- High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques, social media recruiting, and community engagement strategies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in nonprofit recruitment or familiarity with social justice organizations is a plus
- Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and professional networks
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs
- Participate in recruiting events at campuses and within community organizations
- Assist in creating hiring manager resources such as candidate scorecards, interview questions, and ATS training
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and evaluate candidate qualifications effectively
- Coordinate and facilitate virtual and in-person interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking system data
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates and stakeholders involved in the recruitment process
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable employment laws and regulations
- Engage in full lifecycle recruiting, from sourcing to onboarding, overseeing the entire selection process
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role, supporting the organization’s hiring initiatives
- Uphold and promote JEDI principles by actively seeking diverse candidates and partners aligned with SPLC’s mission
- Competitive starting salary of $64,202.00 annually, commensurate with experience
