About the role:


The Procurement Analyst plays a key role in supporting the continued success of Ontario Operations (VBM) by leading and executing procurement activities for a large project. This role is responsible for sourcing goods, equipment, and services while optimizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) and ensuring full compliance with established norms, policies, and delegation of authority.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results‑driven procurement professional who enjoys working in fast‑paced project environments and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and execute procurement activities for goods, equipment, and services
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis, data analytics, and in‑depth commercial evaluations to support strategic purchasing decisions
  • Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies, norms, and delegated authority frameworks
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver effective procurement solutions
  • Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to drive value, efficiency, and performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining procurement processes and identifying cost‑saving opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support transparency and audit requirements


What you bring:


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial analysis roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate cost drivers and commercial risk
  • Experience supporting large‑scale projects or capital initiatives is an asset
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Customer‑service mindset with a strong focus on results and business outcomes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and work as part of a team
