Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a PR Officer/Media Relations Officer. The individual in this role will create and distribute press releases, manage media relations, and develop strategic communication plans to increase the visibility and influence of AGE Movement™. Daily responsibilities include writing and editing content, coordinating with media outlets, building relationships with journalists, and promoting the organization’s initiatives through public relations campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Press Releases and strong Media Relations skills
- Experience in Public Relations and Strategic Communications
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with a team
- Familiarity with non-profit organizations and a passion for advocacy is a plus
- Experience with social media strategy and digital communication is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred
