What’s the Role?
We’re seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our team.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $60,000 annual pay
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service skills
- Experience using payroll software
- Familiar with Fair Labor Standards Act
- Strong computer skills; proficient in data entry and time management
- Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Accuracy and attention to detail required
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments with accuracy
- Checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards
- Process manual checks and off cycle payrolls
- Audit payrolls for accuracy
- Works with a sense of urgency
- Effectively communicates with associates, managers, and stakeholders
- Prepare and distribute ad-hoc reports
- Support the compensation & commissions teams
- Research, resolve and respond to employee inquiries
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Willingness to learn additional duties as part of payroll team
