- Take telephone requests for authorizations and prepare referral requests
- Maintain electronic health record (EHR) referral documentation and track referral patient compliance
- Ensure correct patient and service/exam selections, with orders and required authorizations in place
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Associate's/Technical degree in business or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred)
- Basic working knowledge and experience in scheduling and patient data management
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Experience in healthcare scheduling or related administrative roles
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer systems and data entry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
