Role Description

This is a part-time, remote contract role for a Social Media Manager. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing social media accounts, developing and executing content strategies, creating engaging written content, and ensuring cohesive communication across platforms. The Social Media Manager will play a key role in increasing brand visibility, engaging with the online community, and advancing the organization’s mission through effective social media strategies.


Qualifications

  • Experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Strong skills in Communication and Writing
  • Ability to create and implement successful Content Strategies
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics tools, and engagement tracking
  • Passion for animal welfare and understanding of nonprofit organizations is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an advantage
