We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Data Analyst / BI Specialist for our client.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client is seeking a French-speaking Data Analyst / BI Specialist to support the analysis, transformation, and visualization of financial and operational data. This engagement focuses on improving and optimizing existing Excel-based tools, as well as developing clear and effective Power BI dashboards to support business decision-making. The role involves working with complex and evolving datasets, simplifying performance indicators, and enhancing overall data usability.
This is a short-term, part-time engagement with flexible hours and the potential for extension based on evolving business needs.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will analyze and transform financial and operational data while developing optimized Excel models and Power BI dashboards to support business insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to validate, simplify, and enhance existing data structures and reporting tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
• Fluency in French (strongly preferred) or English, with the ability to work in a French-speaking environment
• Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence roles
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data connections, and Power Query
• Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization
• Ability to work with and improve existing spreadsheets and data structures
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex data and performance indicators
• Experience working with financial and/or operational data
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time, and output-driven environment
Nice-to-have:
• Experience with VBA programming or advanced Excel automation
• Familiarity with databases or data sources such as MS Access, SQL, or similar systems
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Location: Remote
Duration: 2–3 months - may extend for ongoing maintenance
Start date: ASAP
Work hours: Part-time (estimated 60–80 hours total); flexible scheduling, with availability required for meetings during standard business hours
PAY DISCLOSURE:
The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:
• Intermediate (5–8 years) — $50–$60/hr
• Senior (8+ years) — $60–$75/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
