Overview
Temporary legal professional role for maternity leave to provide legal assistant/paralegal support for approximately five months at a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund. The role will support a busy in-house legal team across a range of contract and coordination work. The ideal candidate is available to train onsite in New York, strong preference for full time onsite or going into the office 2+ days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and support work involving vendor contracts, market data agreements, event contracts, and NDAs.
- Serve as a liaison for incoming legal requests, helping triage matters and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Coordinate with sourcing and internal business stakeholders.
- Support multiple lawyers and legal team members across a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Paralegal with strong contract support experience.
- In-house legal experience is preferred, though strong law firm candidates may also be considered.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage requests from many internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working collaboratively and learning team processes quickly.
Role Details
