(Senior) National Key Account Manager – Health Insurances.
POSITION PURPOSE
- Proactively developing and maintaining robust and sustainable relationships with external key stakeholders in the health insurance landscape building preferred-partner relationships
- Proactively identifying customer needs and subsequently creating and implementing autonomously projects for optimal positioning of individual brands, serving as a single point of contact for each relevant account.
- Responsibility for and ownership of processes and internal operations for KVV71 management
- Member of all relevant product brand teams, working across portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES & ACCOUNTABILTIES
Account & Access Management
- Hybrid role with the goal of maximizing access to products by establishing long-term relationships with key external decision makers, whilst owning internal KVV71 management and contribution to product-tailored access strategies.
- Strategic key account management of identified key customers through effective market and healthcare environment analysis; identify and leverage customers’ needs.
- Anticipate changes and trends in the healthcare environment and adapt strategy and operations accordingly. Identify and lift potential business barriers, develop new business opportunities.
- Proactively lead processes on development and implementation of alternative access pathways with public and private health insurances (KVG and VVG) improving access at regional or individual level.
- Lead cross-functional teams when developing and executing brand-tailored strategies and operations improving access at regional or individual level.
- Overseeing and owning the holistic operations of KVV 71 internally, from the development and co-creation of Kostengutsprachen and “Olu-Tool-Simulationen”, to the handling of case specific communication with Health insurances, to quality check of invoices and subsequent analytics processes.
- You are developing, finalizing and disseminating deliverables in a pro-active, transparent and inclusive manner in set timeline, generating added value for customers by driving synergies and efficiencies and using available insights to inform the commercialization strategy.
- You are a role model and operate with compliance guidelines, laws, regulations, and company values.
Communication and Teamwork
- Jointly identify, and pro-actively develop and utilize relationships with internal cross-functional overlaps (Medical, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Corporate Affairs) to maximize holistic value to customers.
- Lead cross-functional team to ensure coordinated and consistent communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & background: Higher university degree in business management or health science related disciplines (e.g. health economics, public health, biomedicine, epidemiology, pharmacology, pharmacy, healthcare administration, biostatistics, medicine) with profound professional experience (>5 years) in healthcare industry with customer responsibility.

Languages
Fluent in German and English is a must, French a great asset.
