At Biocon Biologics, we’re not just developing medicines—we’re transforming lives. With a bold mission to make high-quality, affordable biologics accessible to patients worldwide, we’ve already made history: from launching the first interchangeable biosimilar insulin in the U.S. to expanding access to life-saving therapies in over a dozen countries.

Our insulin glargine and insulin Aspart products are helping reshape diabetes care in both developed and emerging markets. And we’re just getting started. With over 20 biosimilars approved or in development in more than 120 countries and a growing presence in North America, we’re building a future where no patient is left behind.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Insulin/GLP Director, North America, will serve as a hands-on, key member of the NA Marketing team, focusing on strategic and tactical initiatives. Specifically, the Brand Director will lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives for our biosimilar insulin products and generic GLP assets (Semaglutide and Liraglutide) across the U.S. and Canadian markets. This is more than a marketing role—it’s a chance to shape the future of diabetes care in North America and our insulin portfolio. You’ll drive strategic brand planning, lead high-impact launches, and craft compelling value propositions that resonate with healthcare professionals, payers, and patients. You’ll work cross-functionally and globally, bringing together science, strategy, and storytelling to deliver results that matter.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead with Vision: Own the end-to-end brand strategy for biosimilar insulin and generic GLP-1 assets across the U.S. and Canada, aligning with global objectives while tailoring to local market dynamics.
  • Drive Growth: Identify market opportunities, shape positioning, and execute integrated marketing plans that accelerate adoption and expand access. Lead annual brand planning, including forecasting, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Launch Excellence: Spearhead the launch of new indications and products, ensuring readiness across all commercial functions. Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities through market segmentation, positioning, lifecycle management, and creative storytelling.
  • Think Strategically: Leverage market research, real-world evidence, and analytics to inform brand decisions and optimize tactical effectiveness. Monitor competitive activity and evolving treatment paradigms in the diabetes space, particularly in insulin and GLP-1 classes.
  • Roll up your sleeves: Represent the brand at national and regional congresses, advisory boards, and internal leadership forums. Manage external agencies and vendors. Lead the review and approval process for promotional materials in collaboration with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical teams.
  • Collaborate Cross-Border: Partner with U.S. and Canadian commercial teams to navigate diverse regulatory, reimbursement, and cultural landscapes. Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Global Marketing to ensure cohesive execution and alignment. Build trusted relationships with KOLs, advocacy groups, and professional societies to amplify our voice and impact.
  • Own the Business: Oversee the development of promotional materials, digital assets, and educational content tailored to regional regulatory and cultural nuances. Manage budgets and track performance to ensure ROI and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Compliance: Lead the development and approval of promotional materials in accordance with FDA, Health Canada, and internal standards.
  • Take a Breath: Focus on what matters outside of work. Take time to recharge.
