Responsibilities:
- Build and progressively expand a portfolio of local hotel partners and assigned regional chains / international chains by negotiating and securing win-win distribution partnerships, facilitating the hotel onboarding, and owning Dida’s day to day relationship with your portfolio of hotels.
- Execute effectively based on KPI metrics (targets, goals and/or strategic objectives) set by the company.
- Engage with both individual hotels and hotel groups in your market in order to achieve your targets.
- Ensure that partner hotels’ product (content, rates and availability) is consistently optimized and competitive.
- Maximize sales for your hotel partners by providing relevant data insights, support services and collaborating closely with Dida’s internal stakeholders.
- Represent Dida in the local market, build Dida’s company profile with key local influencers (e.g. tourism bureau, hotel association, etc.) and provide expertise to the local industry.
- Educate DidaT’s colleagues on market dynamics and specific needs/requests from your portfolio.
- Secure additional rates and rooms as and when Dida chooses to offer additional product to DidaTravel’s customers.
- Secure seasonal deals, evergreen and dynamic promotions within the guidelines set by Management to support the brands’ merchandising and marketing efforts.
- Responsible for weekly reports and monthly KPI review reporting to the team leader.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years sales/account management experience in the travel industry.
- Solid hotel revenue / e-commerce / distribution background with proven record of handling major OTAs and online wholesalers will also be considered.
- Demonstrates problem solving skills.
- Conscientious, quick learner, adaptable, self-aware, accountable, responsible.
- Independent work ethic, ability to work remotely.
- Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels.
- Able to work independently as well as be a strong team player, always seeking to improve team and organizational performance.
