Job Summary: The Manager of Pathway Initiatives provides curricular, academic, and operational oversight of the LexScholars Post-Baccalaureate Program (LexPostBacc), a 10-month law school preparation program designed for prospective law students with bottom-quartile LSAT scores and/or other characteristics that would benefit from additional academic readiness support prior to beginning law school.
This role ensures academic quality, grading integrity, curricular relevance, and seamless coordination across internal and external teams, including graders, program administrators, and partner law schools.
As the LexPostBacc program continues to expand in scale and impact, this position plays a critical role in shaping program delivery, participant outcomes, and overall program effectiveness.

Responsibilities And Duties
Curriculum and Academic Oversight:
- Lead ongoing development and refinement of the LexPostBacc curriculum based on participant performance and feedback from referring law schools.
- Ensure alignment of curriculum with best practices in online and adult learning.
- Maintain academic rigor and grading consistency across all delivery formats.
- Adapt curriculum and assessments to address appropriate, ethical, and productive use of AI tools.
- Oversee grader onboarding, training, calibration, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Design and facilitate training and calibration sessions to ensure grading consistency.
- Manage grading workflows and ensure timely delivery of performance reports to referring law schools and internal decision makers.
- Generate and customize grade summary reports for use by program directors.
- Respond to participant inquiries related to program grading, assessment, and academic expectations.
- Monitor trends in feedback and recommend curricular improvements.
- Maintain and update Canvas LMS content and course structures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support program delivery.
- Collaborate with partner law schools to support academic alignment and post-program coaching initiatives.
- Conduct outreach to support program engagement and expansion.
- Utilize Salesforce to track engagement, outcomes, and coaching activities.
- Support program growth initiatives, including drafting agreements, budgets, and calendars.
- Other duties as assigned in support of the Company’s mission.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs). To succeed in the Manager, Pathway Initiatives position, candidates should possess the following KSAs:
- REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a higher education academic support role.
- Experience developing and implementing academic upgrade curriculum.
- Experience delivering online courses to adult learners.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to academic integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience working with learning management systems, such as Canvas.
- Experience using database platforms, such as Salesforce and Excel.
- Experience working with higher education students from underrepresented backgrounds.
- PREFERRED
- Understanding of law school academic success principles, assessment and grading practices, and curricular frameworks preferred.
- Background Experiences. The following candidate background experiences are desired:
- Juris Doctor or graduate degree in relevant field (e.g., curriculum development, adult education, distance learning)
- Graduate-level coursework in relevant field (e.g., curriculum development, adult education, distance learning) preferred
