2. About the Opportunity:

The Manager, Logistics & Operations supports the execution of the operations strategy, focusing on optimizing outbound product movement from third-party warehouses to customers. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Logistics, this role ensures efficient order fulfillment across ecommerce, marketplace, and business-to-business channels while maintaining system integrity and cost control. The position plays a key role in managing service agreements, transportation, and supply chain improvements. It requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to drive operational excellence and cost savings.


3. Responsibilities:

• Act as primary contact and relationship manager for distribution center partners, focusing on outbound logistics

• Ensure on-time order fulfillment for trade partners and sales channels

• Collaborate with Finance to ensure compliance in inventory, warehouse, fulfillment, and transportation costs

• Attend biannual physical inventory counts at distribution centers

• Develop and maintain SOPs, vendor guidelines, routing guides, and training documents

• Support development of operations and logistics best practices and process improvements

• Analyze and model scenarios to optimize operations and meet KPIs, including chargeback and claims management

• Drive continuous improvements in 3PL warehouse processes to reduce costs and improve fulfillment speed and accuracy

• Lead or support department projects as needed

• Participate in User Acceptance Training for system updates

• Understand inbound logistics and provide backup support as necessary

• Manage retailer chargebacks by reviewing claims, identifying root causes, coordinating resolution, and improving compliance

• Implement process improvements and maintain documentation to prevent recurring issues and strengthen vendor relationships


4. Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations within the CPG sector, including DTC/ecommerce and brick-and-mortar retail

• Strong experience with 3PL warehouse/distribution center operations and B2B order management

• Thorough knowledge of production planning, purchasing, inventory control, freight logistics, and shipping/receiving

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), system troubleshooting, and advanced Excel skills

• Data-driven with strong quantitative abilities to translate financial and business data into actionable decisions

• Ability to work independently, own projects, and demonstrate problem-solving in fast-paced environments


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
