Head of Finance at Sniffspot
$200k – $280k
Sniffspot is the world’s largest marketplace for private dog parks. We’re a profitable consumer subscription marketplace growing 100% year over year and targeting $10M+ net revenue this year. Our growth is entirely funded through operating cash flow.
Our business has significant financial complexity including subscriptions, deferred revenue and variable costs. Finance & accounting at Sniffspot are core to planning and decision-making.
About The Role
This is the top finance role at Sniffspot. You will own finance and accounting end-to-end: FP&A, cash management, budgeting, month end close, all financial analysis, and finance operations. You will manage our outsourced accounting and tax firms, and be fully accountable for financial accuracy, judgment and decision-making across the company. Finally, you will also manage accounts payable, insurance including host liability insurance, HR, and legal.
This is a hands-on operator role, not a pure management role. We are looking for someone who would personally own our financial model and be the subject matter expert on our financial health and planning. You will partner directly with the CEO on impactful questions: how fast we can grow, where to invest and how close to the edge we can operate safely.
This role has real leverage. You will shape how capital is allocated in a profitable, scaling business and directly influence the company’s growth rate, margins and long-term outcomes.
