About The Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual communications that enhance SNHU’s outreach efforts across multiple channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions for digital, print, and multimedia projects aimed at prospective students. This includes designing marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, social media graphics, email templates, web visuals, and video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both digital and print design, along with the ability to work within brand guidelines while bringing fresh ideas to the table. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within specified states, provided the candidate has a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience with standard design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; experience in lieu of degree may be considered
  • Proven experience in designing for both print and digital applications
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse youth-facing design work
  • Experience building compelling PowerPoint presentations
  • Excellent understanding of branding, layout, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing designs based on project requirements and creative concepts
  • Ensure all designs adhere to established brand guidelines and standards
  • Produce final artwork for print, digital, and interactive media
  • Perform special design tasks such as photo editing, color correction, and file preparation
  • Manage project timelines effectively to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and content teams to develop creative strategies
  • Design various marketing materials including presentations, brochures, event collateral, social media graphics, email templates, and website visuals
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance communication efforts
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the university’s marketing initiatives
