Deliverables
- Edit 1–2 short-form Reels per week, ensuring each video is funny, engaging, and visually dynamic
- Apply creative transitions, trending sound effects, and modern editing techniques (CapCut-style, etc.)
- Add accurate, engaging subtitles and captions that enhance the humor and storytelling
- Maintain strong timing for jokes, expressive reactions, and a fast-paced rhythm
- Collaborate with the content creator to refine concepts and deliver final edits ready for social media
- Stay updated on current social media trends and incorporate them into edits
- Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Strong sense of humor and ability to translate comedic timing into video edits
- Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Excellent eye for aesthetics, rhythm, and pacing
- Ability to create engaging subtitles and captions
- Awareness of current social media trends and viral editing styles
