Position: Film and Video Editor
Type: Hourly contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Train AI models on film and video editing principles, including storytelling and shot composition.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide annotations and feedback on editing workflows.
- Edit video content and synchronize audio to achieve seamless visual storytelling.
- Evaluate AI-generated edits and provide detailed feedback for improvement.
- Curate and organize video assets to support efficient production workflows.
- Apply best practices in pacing, transitions, and visual clarity across projects.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on creative goals.
Requirements
- Strong experience in film and video editing across digital and media platforms.
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with creative teams such as producers or directors.
- Ability to provide structured feedback and document editing processes.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
