Position Summary:
Part strategist, part visionary, and the ultimate multitasker. As a Product Manager at PlexusAV you will orchestrate the entire product journey—from its earliest concept to its launch—serving as the owner for the product’s strategy and a key driver of cross-functional collaboration.
You will set priorities, align our internal teams around shared goals, and make decisions that balance creativity and strategy. Your ownership of the roadmap, positioning, forecasting, pricing, and promotion will ensure every element contributes to the product's success.

Your Role as a Product Manager:
- From sketchpad concepts to end-of-life strategies, you're the guardian of the product’s journey.
- Own the vision and roadmap for your products, ensuring every step aligns with market demands and company goals.
- Keep our globally located engineering, manufacturing, sales, support, and quality teams in sync to achieve customer satisfaction and corporate success.
- Wow customers with engaging demos, compelling roadmaps, and persuasive value propositions to win over decision-makers and influencers.
- Balance costs, revenue, and market expectations to build robust business cases that drive product profitability and long-term growth.
- Create impactful sales and marketing materials—training, press releases, data sheets, presentations, web content, and more—ensuring your product stays ahead of the curve.
- Deliver high-energy product and market training to key teams, inspiring sales, support, and engineering with the knowledge they need to excel.
- Collaborate with sales and manufacturing to develop and maintain accurate product forecasts that drive strategic planning and execution.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by researching target markets and emerging technologies.
- Conduct competitive analysis, including product benchmarking and feature comparisons, to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Our team is based in various locations globally.
Background:
- At least 3 years of experience in the Professional Audio-Visual market, video streaming, or broadcast industries in roles such as Product Manager, Consultant, System Designer, or comparable position.
- Higher Vocational working and thinking level, obtained through education and/or experience
- Extensive knowledge of networking, video processing, compression techniques and video/audio protocols.
- Practical knowledge of AV distribution tools, such as HDMI switchers, extenders, and HDBaseT matrix switchers is a plus
- Experience with Jira as product management tool is a plus.
- Must be able to lead and be part of a team
Skills:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Some processes require prolonged standing, as well as some require prolonged sitting.
- Must have correctable vision and hearing ability as well as physical mobility and dexterity.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport for travel.
