Senior Instructional Design & E-Learning Lead
Position Summary
The Senior Instructional Design & E-Learning Lead is responsible for designing and delivering high-impact digital learning experiences that support organizational performance and learner engagement. This role blends instructional design expertise, multimedia development, and strategic leadership to create effective, scalable learning solutions across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging e-learning, interactive modules, simulations, and blended learning programs.
- Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business and learning needs into effective instructional solutions.
- Lead instructional strategy and ensure alignment with adult learning principles and performance goals.
- Oversee and mentor instructional designers, developers, and external partners.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using data, learner feedback, and performance metrics.
- Drive innovation through game-based learning, interactive media, and emerging learning technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or learning program leadership.
- Strong expertise with LMS platforms, authoring tools, and multimedia production technologies.
- Deep understanding of adult learning theory, curriculum design, and learning evaluation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Experience
- Game-based or simulation-based learning development.
- Leadership experience in corporate L&D, higher education, or ed-tech environments.
- Entrepreneurial or consulting background in learning solutions.
The salary range for this position is $40 to $50. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
