The Role


We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Digital & E-Commerce to lead the next stage growth for Saint James Iced Team. This role will own the end-to-end digital ecosystem across DTC, Amazon, retail media, affiliate, and upper-funnel channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, and CTV.


This leader will define and drive the digital growth strategy, overseeing agency relationships and internal resources to deliver strong performance across paid media, e-commerce, and retail digital channels. The role sits at the center of the growth agenda and is responsible for turning full-funnel marketing into measurable business results.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee & Optimize Digital/Social Paid Media:  

  • Lead digital media strategy and investment across Meta, CTV, programmatic, and paid social, setting direction, optimization priorities, and the overall performance agenda in partnership with a Senior Digital Manager on execution. 
  • Own performance management across key funnel metrics (reach, CTR, CVR, CAC, ROAS), driving continuous testing and translating insights into actionable optimizations with internal teams and agency partners to improve efficiency and unlock growth. 


Lead & Accelerate Amazon Business:

  • Own Amazon strategy and growth agenda, setting the roadmap and driving execution in partnership with agency teams, supported by a Senior Digital Manager. 
  • Translate physical retail strength into a high-performing digital shelf, driving sustained e-commerce growth. 
  • Lead and direct agency partners across retail media, search, and merchandising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Amazon DSP), ensuring accountability for ROAS, acquisition, and conversion performance. 
  • Own end-to-end digital shelf strategy and outcomes, including PDP optimization, SEO, content, imagery, A+ content, ratings and reviews, availability, and search ranking. 
  • Direct pricing, promotions, and media investment strategy with agency support to maximize traffic, conversion, and basket size. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with supply chain and production to ensure forecasting, availability, and execution support Amazon growth. 
  • Hold agency partners accountable for performance, ensuring structure, capabilities, and execution are consistently aligned with growth priorities. 


Oversee Retail Media Strategy: 

  • Direct retail media strategy across multiple retailer platforms (currently 7), setting priorities and performance standards, with day-to-day execution led by a Retail Media Manager. 


Lead Innovation Across the Digital Ecosystem:

  • Stay ahead of the evolving digital landscape, proactively sourcing and assessing new apps, tools, partners, and platform capabilities that can drive step-change growth.  


Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or performance marketing within CPG (beverage experience strongly preferred).  
  • Proven track record of scaling Amazon businesses and driving measurable revenue growth in a competitive CPG category, beverage preferred   
  • Deep expertise across the Amazon ecosystem (retail media, search, digital shelf, content, pricing, and conversion optimization).  
  • Strong experience across full-funnel digital media, including Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, CTV, and programmatic.  
  • Familiarity with retailer portals and retail media ecosystems (e.g., Kroger, Target, Walmart, etc.).  
  • Demonstrated ability to translate brand investment into commercial performance and revenue growth.  
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to lead through influence and clarity.  
  • Strong analytical capability with ability to interpret performance data and translate into actionable strategy.  
  • Proven experience managing agencies and external partners to drive accountability and performance.  
  • Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on environments, with a bias toward action and results.
