About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Development to lead commercial growth initiatives across our pharmaceutical portfolio. This is a senior leadership role responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities, driving partnerships, and shaping the company’s commercial strategy in line with long-term objectives.

ey Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the business development strategy to expand our presence across key therapeutic areas and markets.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with biotech, pharma, and research organisations.
- Lead commercial negotiations, licensing discussions, and collaboration agreements.
- Work closely with R&D, Regulatory, and Finance teams to align business objectives with operational capabilities.
- Identify new revenue streams through partnerships, product in-licensing, and market expansion.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record (10+ years) in business development, commercial strategy, or corporate development within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle, licensing models, and regulatory landscape.
- Experience in partnership negotiation, M&A, or strategic alliances.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Scientific or business degree (MBA or equivalent preferred).
