Our client is a forward-thinking technology company specializing in innovative solutions that help businesses streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. As they expand their presence in the U.S. automotive and mobility technology market, the company requires a senior commercimoal leader to establish and scale its ADAS aftermarket business.


This role is critical to driving market entry, building strategic partnerships, and generating sustainable revenue streams across key customer segments. The Director of Business Development will serve as a cornerstone hire in building our client’s U.S. commercial footprint and brand presence.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Strategic Sales & Market Development

  • Develop and execute the U.S. market strategy for ADAS and mobility solutions
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across automotive distributors, fleet
  • operators, telematics providers, and mobility partners
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and structured sales
  • processes
  • Conduct market intelligence to track competitors, regulatory developments, and
  • emerging mobility trends


Enterprise Sales & Partnerships

  • Lead enterprise-level sales engagements with OEM partners, fleet operators, and
  • channel partners
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with aftermarket distributors and
  • service networks
  • Own the full sales cycle including prospecting, solution positioning, proposal
  • development, and contract negotiation


Revenue Growth & Performance Management

  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for the U.S. market
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility
  • Track key performance metrics including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and
  • customer acquisition


Market Presence & Brand Development

  • Represent Novus at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Build strong brand positioning within the ADAS aftermarket and mobility
  • ecosystem


Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

  • Understand customer operational challenges and position ADAS solutions as
  • value-driven offerings
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to customer needs


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or Business preferred); MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development within automotive technology or related sectors
  • Proven success selling into U.S. or North American markets
  • Experience with ADAS, telematics, fleet management, automotive electronics, or mobility solutions
  • Strong understanding of automotive aftermarket distribution channels
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles and strategic partnerships
  • Strong consultative and technical sales capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking with ability to execute in a growth environment
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
