Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead and oversee the admissions team while ensuring efficient intake operations, regulatory compliance, and a high-quality client experience across all stages of the admissions process.
- Provide leadership and supervision to admissions counselors, senior counselors, and assistants, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
- Oversee the end-to-end intake process, including inquiry management, call handling, and coordination of admissions workflows.
- Ensure accurate CRM data entry and maintenance, supporting reporting, compliance, and operational visibility.
- Supervise insurance verification activities and ensure proper documentation for admissions decisions.
- Coordinate clinical and medical screening reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with program requirements.
- Collaborate with onsite and cross-functional teams to schedule admissions and optimize client placement and flow.
- Monitor team performance metrics, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
This position requires strong leadership experience in admissions or intake operations within behavioral health or a related healthcare setting, along with solid operational and clinical coordination skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; background in healthcare, behavioral health, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of admissions experience in a behavioral healthcare environment, including clinical and medical screening exposure.
- Proven experience managing or supervising admissions or intake teams in a high-volume setting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for data entry, reporting, and case tracking.
- Understanding of insurance verification processes and care coordination workflows.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage stressful situations, adapt to shifting priorities, and maintain operational quality under pressure.
- Clinical licensure is preferred but not required.
