Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in large data sets.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data entry software.
- Experience with CRM systems or project management tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with data management and database software such as Microsoft Access or Google Sheets.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of engineering terminology and data processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Accurately enter and update data into internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Cross-check data for errors, discrepancies, or inconsistencies, making necessary corrections promptly.
- Organize, categorize, and maintain electronic and paper records to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in generating routine and ad-hoc reports by compiling data from multiple sources and presenting it clearly.
- Regularly update and clean data to preserve data integrity, removing outdated or inaccurate records.
- Support data integration efforts across different platforms, ensuring consistency and smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with the Data Manager to monitor database health and ensure optimal functionality.
- Work closely with departments such as engineering, finance, and project management to align data with business needs.
- Maintain digital files in an organized manner, adhering to internal policies for data security and privacy.
- Conduct routine audits and checks to ensure data accuracy and currency.
- Provide administrative support by preparing documents, reports, and communications as required.
