What You'll do:
This Data Analyst supports threat analysis operations within the supply chain risk management program. This Data Analyst focuses on the offensive/threat side of supply chain risk — identifying vulnerabilities, mapping adversary supply chain dependencies, assessing geopolitical exposure, and discovering points of failure before they are exploited. The Data Analyst works under the direction of a Director of Operations & Implementation.
This role requires on-site work in either Huntsville, AL or Northern Virginia (Washington, DC Metro Area). Limited telework may be permitted based on customer requirements and business needs.

What You'll do:

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute supply chain vulnerability assessments for assigned programs and weapons systems
- Conduct adversary supply chain mapping to identify foreign ownership, control, and influence (FOCI) indicators
- Produce threat assessment products documenting identified vulnerabilities, severity ratings, and exploitation pathways
- Develop and execute scenario-based stress assessments for supply chain disruption events
- Model supplier capacity loss scenarios and estimate impact on program timelines and readiness
- Conduct deep-dive research on long-lead components, sole-source parts, and critical materials
- Identify obsolescence risks, diminishing manufacturing sources, and counterfeit indicators
- Analyze geopolitical exposure for supply chain entities across assigned programs
- Maintain the vulnerability pipeline with prioritization, status tracking, and handoff to mitigation team
- Contribute to recurring reports, control tower briefing materials, and annual vulnerability summaries
- Document research methodology, maintain source attribution records, and evidence packages
- Support transition documentation and knowledge transfer activities
- Minimum 3 years of experience in threat analysis, intelligence analysis, risk assessment, supply chain investigation, or operations research
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python/pandas, SQL, or equivalent)
- Experience producing threat assessments, vulnerability analysis products, or structured analytic products
- Familiarity with adversary network analysis, geopolitical risk, FOCI assessment, or supply chain disruption analysis
- Strong analytic writing, research methodology, and briefing material development skills
- Ability to conduct structured research, maintain evidence documentation, and work to production cadence
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Must be currently located in Huntsville, AL or the Washington, DC Metro area
- Experience with defense intelligence analysis or counterintelligence support
- Familiarity with FOCI screening, CFIUS processes, or sanctions screening
- Experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT) research methods
- Familiarity with defense parts databases (GIDEP, FED-LOG) or DMSMS analysis
- Experience with scenario modeling, Monte Carlo simulation, or network analysis tools
