Finance Expert (Contract)
Role Overview
Design and evaluate complex financial workflows across FP&A, corporate development, and strategic finance scenarios.
Engage in high-depth assignments requiring sustained analytical rigor and structured judgment.
$85–$130/hour | ~20 hours per week | Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end finance scenarios spanning budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Evaluate outputs across financial models, valuation analyses, and investment decisions
- Assess management reporting, board materials, and capital allocation frameworks
- Review M&A workflows including screening, diligence, and synergy analysis
- Provide structured, step-by-step feedback with clear analytical justification
Core Requirements
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, or corporate finance workflows
- Working knowledge of FP&A, strategic finance, or transaction-related processes
- Ability to interpret and produce operating models, investment memos, and reports
- High attention to detail with consistent analytical precision
- Clear, structured written communication with strong documentation skills
