Area Sales Manager


Missions


Reporting to the Regional Management, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Nordics Region through the development and management of a distributor network.


The role combines business development, key account management, and technical sales in a highly competitive industrial environment.


Your main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing a network of distributors and channel partners
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Promoting and selling technical solutions in compressed air systems
  • Delivering technical presentations and conducting air audits for customers
  • Supporting partners to ensure effective solution delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Achieving sales targets while ensuring profitability


Profile


Education & Experience

  • Engineering degree or technical background (sales/business education is a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in the compressor business
  • Proven experience in developing and managing distributor networks (indirect sales)
  • Experience in compressors or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable


Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong technical understanding of compressed air systems and industrial applications
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Autonomous, results-driven, and comfortable working in a field-based role
  • Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders


Languages

  • Swedish: Native Level
  • English: Advanced (B2~C1)
  • Other Nordic languages are a plus


Additional Information


  • Travel: Frequent travel within the assigned territory
