We are seeking a Communications Specialist to support the delivery of strategic communications initiatives that engage employees and members across a dynamic, multi-stakeholder organization.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role plays a key part in developing and executing internal and member-facing communications that are timely, engaging, and aligned to business priorities. You’ll partner across teams to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and delivered through modern, digital-first channels.
This is a highly collaborative role working closely with Marketing, HR, and Project Management teams, as well as broader communications stakeholders across a national and global network.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications
- Support the execution of internal communication strategies alongside the Head of Communications, HR, and senior leadership
- Ensure all communications are high-quality, consistent, and effectively inform key audiences
- Create and manage content across channels (writing, editing, visual coordination, video support, etc.)
- Maintain and evolve internal communication platforms, including intranet tools
- Develop content for company-wide updates (e.g., monthly huddles) and manage follow-up communications
- Partner with HR and leadership to communicate organizational updates, including new hires and structural changes
- Provide day-to-day support on internal communications initiatives and projects
Member / External Stakeholder Communications
- Support communications plans for key business initiatives and projects targeting members
- Develop and execute content across multiple channels (email, events, digital platforms, newsletters)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guide and improve communication effectiveness
Channel Management & Digital Enablement
- Help optimize and evolve digital communication platforms to maximize engagement
- Collaborate with platform partners and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and improve user experience
- Act as a subject matter expert on internal communications tools, supporting adoption and best practices
- Drive engagement and community-building across communication channels
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in corporate or internal communications
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with experience adapting messaging for different audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience with intranet platforms and digital communication tools
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and big-picture thinking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and content collaboration tools
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 – $68,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits
