OVERVIEW:
The Clinical Recruiter is responsible for the front end of the recruiting process including finding, filtering, qualifying and presenting Physician, Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner candidates in order to build a strong talent pipeline for our open Emergency Medicine practice opportunities. The clinical recruiter will utilize direct and indirect sourcing techniques, including complex internet searches, cold calling, social and professional networking, database mining and competitor research to build a strong network of passive and active candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops sourcing and marketing strategies upon notification of an open opportunity.
- Source and screen providers and present qualified candidates to the FMD as appropriate.
- Networks throughout geographic territory to establish recognition of TeamHealth and opportunities in the market.
- Cold calls providers to achieve recruiting goals and to identify potential candidates for contracting.
- Maintains a pool of qualified candidates.
- Obtains initial provider data, including curriculum vitae. Ensure candidates comply with submitting all necessary credentials and documents prior to any clinical assignments.
- Provides communication and feedback to Sr. Clinical Recruiters and/or recruitment directors regarding the candidates who have been engaged.
- Evaluates candidate credentials for position and organizational match. Discusses those findings with the senior clinical recruiter assigned to those sites.
- Responds to incoming provider inquiries regarding practice opportunities.
- Utilizes third-party websites and social media to generate candidate leads.
- Utilizes database to log, track, organize and adhere to data requirements.
- Discusses the risk management process, as appropriate, with new hires during the contracting phase. Obtains clarification from new providers on questionnaire in order to process the application, and if applicable, the risk management referral form.
- Collaborate with designated support staff to ensure positive feedback is received as part of the reference review process. Identifies appropriate references for written reference checks.
- Monitors competitors and the industry to understand physician staffing trends.
- Attend conferences, including residency relation events and recruitment meetings, as requested.
- Adhere to department goals and strive to achieve monthly and annual KPI’s.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional recruiting or sales experience with some college
- (1-2) years of Emergency Medicine Physician/APP Recruitment experience or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant PHY/APP recruitment experience.
