Schedule: Primarily Central Time Zone (must be flexible across multiple time zones)

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation: $32 – $43 per hour

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking experienced Remote Clinical Recruiters with a strong background in hospice healthcare recruiting to support high-volume hiring needs. This role focuses on recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) and Aides within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is highly proactive, comfortable with outbound recruiting activity, and able to hit the ground running. This individual brings urgency, persistence, and ownership of requisitions while delivering a high-quality candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hospice clinical roles, including RNs and Aides
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through sourcing and outreach strategies
  • Partner with hiring teams to understand staffing needs and prioritize requisitions

Sourcing & Outreach

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, and industry channels
  • Conduct high-volume outbound activity, including phone-based candidate outreach
  • Engage passive candidates and maintain consistent follow-up to drive hiring outcomes

Screening & Selection

  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct phone screens and structured interviews using competency-based methods
  • Evaluate candidates’ clinical experience, soft skills, and cultural alignment
  • Coordinate interview processes and gather feedback from stakeholders

Process Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (iCIMS)
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide reporting on pipeline activity and hiring progress
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting best practices and hiring standards

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Build strong relationships and deliver a positive candidate experience
  • Support job posting optimization and recruitment marketing efforts

Additional Duties

  • Assist with onboarding coordination as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements and recruiting initiatives
  • Perform other recruiting-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in clinical recruiting
  • Hospice recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience recruiting for RN and Aide roles
  • Strong sourcing skills using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting tools
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and candidate engagement
  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably iCIMS
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions with a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Strong interviewing skills, including structured and competency-based techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
  • Staffing agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
