The Role
As COO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring the company scales effectively across product, payments infrastructure, compliance, and customer experience.
You’ll play a critical role in translating strategy into execution—building the operational backbone of the company, driving efficiency, and enabling sustainable growth as the business expands into new markets.
The Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- 15+ years of leadership experience across operations, payments, or fintech environments
- Strong experience scaling early-stage (Series A–C) companies through high-growth phases
- Deep understanding of cross-border payments, FX, or global financial infrastructure
- Proven ability to build and optimize operational processes across multiple functions
- Experience working with banking partners, payment networks, and regulatory frameworks
- A track record of driving execution through cross-functional leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute company strategy
- Own and scale day-to-day operations across payments, compliance, customer operations, and support
- Build and optimize operational processes, systems, and infrastructure to support growth
- Drive international expansion, including new market entry and regulatory alignment
- Ensure best-in-class operational performance across payment flows, settlement, and customer experience
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency
- Manage key external relationships including banking partners, payment providers, and vendors
- Implement KPIs and performance metrics to drive accountability and operational excellence
