Position Overview:
This is a 1099 / Part-Time Contract Position.
**** This career coaching role provides supplemental work for experienced recruiters alongside their primary recruiting role.
We are seeking an experienced Career Coach with 10+ years of experience in corporate recruiting, HR, Organizational Development, or Training and Development. This individual will work closely with clients to guide them through career transitions, helping them navigate the job market, enhance their professional branding, and develop strategic career plans. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, empathetic coach who understands the complexities of career development and is passionate about helping others succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one career coaching to mid-level to executive professionals, helping them define career goals, identify opportunities, and develop actionable career plans.
- Conduct comprehensive resume reviews, LinkedIn profile optimization, and interview coaching sessions using industry best practices and behavior-based interview techniques (such as the STAR method).
- Collaborate with clients to enhance their personal branding, including crafting impactful resumes, cover letters, and professional profiles.
- Advise clients on job search strategies, networking techniques, and effective communication with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Guide clients on job search strategies, such as providing targeted leads and avoiding the pitfalls of simply submitting resumes into a "black hole.”
- Offer advice on effective networking techniques and how to communicate directly with recruiters and hiring managers for greater impact.
- Leverage Core Recruiting Inc.’s network to provide clients with access to exclusive job opportunities and key introductions to senior leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, job market shifts, and evolving talent acquisition strategies to provide clients with relevant insights and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate recruiting, HR, Organizational Development, or Training and Development, with a strong understanding of hiring processes and talent management strategies.
- Proven experience coaching professionals and executives on career development, job transitions, and professional growth.
- Strong knowledge of job market trends, industry standards, and the hiring process from both a candidate’s and an employer’s perspective.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Certification in career coaching or related areas (e.g., Certified Professional Career Coach, Career Development Facilitator) is a plus.
