Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Director. Our Business Development Directors (BDDs) with line management responsibility are senior sales leaders who combine strategic account management with team leadership, owning both growth and performance across a defined cluster, subdivision, or territory.

This is a dual role: they manage their own portfolio of high-value customer accounts while also leading a commercial team. They’re not just managers, they’re coaches, mentors, and role models who create a positive, motivating environment where individuals thrive and teams deliver.

They help their team navigate complex sales cycles, use our commercial tools with confidence, and focus on the activities that matter most. They set clear goals, align efforts with Element’s commercial strategy, and champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Whether they’re shaping strategic plans, guiding team development, or leading by example with customers, these BDDs play a pivotal role in driving growth and embedding a coaching-led, high-performance culture grounded in Element’s Commercial Excellence framework.
