Title: Associate Creative Director, Copy
Role Description
As the ACD, Copy you will oversee all copy-related creative services for the agency, with particular focus on creative for performance marketing (e.g., landing pages, email marketing, paid search copy, paid social copy, etc.), as well as a growing book of business around brand development and creative campaign development.
Role Responsibilities
Manage & Develop the Copy Team
- Leads, mentors, and supports a team of copywriters with a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture
- Conducts regular one-on-ones and provides ongoing feedback to in-house writers and freelancers
- Recruits, retains, and manages all freelance and contract copywriting support
Own Copy & Campaign Deliverables
- Reviews and edits all copy produced by the in-house team and freelancers
- Writes copy for clients across paid media, web, and additional channels as needed
- Leads campaign concepting for all brand development work
- Partners with the Executive Director of Consulting on brand strategy development
Collaborate Across Departments
- Partners with the Project Management team to align schedules, tasks, and deliverables to ensure work is delivered on time and on brief
- Works in complement with the ACD, Art; ACD, Video; and VP, Web to ensure creative output
Qualifications include:
- 10+ years of copywriting experience
- Minimum of 5 years serving education-specific clients
- Experience managing a team of copywriters
- Extensive campaign concepting and campaign development experience (e.g., minimum of 8 – 10 integrated marketing campaigns managed from concept through shipping to market)
The Specifics
- Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
- Remote: Position is a fully remote WFH position
- Location: Candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.
