Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of one year related healthcare and/or customer service experience required
- Experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Proficiency with personal computers and standard office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
- Ability to learn and operate electronic medical records and clinical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve in real-time
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including managing routine tasks that support daily operations
- Serve as a liaison between patients and clinical team members, ensuring effective communication and care coordination
- Triaging incoming patient messages via phone, portal, and other communication channels according to established guidelines
- Respond to patient inquiries within the designated scope and escalate issues as necessary
- Draft, review, and prepare patient correspondence, including letters, disability forms, and documentation
- Request, track, and manage medical records from external institutions, ensuring proper routing and documentation
- Manage reference lab orders, input data into portals, and distribute results or notifications appropriately
- Distribute incoming patient materials to relevant team members and maintain organized workflows for document handling
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within electronic medical records and other databases
- Communicate professionally via email and phone with internal teams and external collaborators
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient and institutional information
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations and enhance patient care
- Competitive salary range of $50,070.00 - $60,730.00, based on experience and qualifications
