- Communicate with staff and coordinate training and meetings for Center leadership
- Minimum of 30 years of experience in administrative support and management, or a High School Diploma/GED
- Expertise with all USDA-ARS systems
- Experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to perform duties without signing federal documents or making decisions on federally funded research
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Previous experience working in federal agencies or with government programs
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
