About The Role

The Legal Administrative Assistant at Allstate plays a vital role in supporting our Client Legal Services attorneys, primarily focusing on Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) and related case coordination. This position is responsible for managing a high volume of scheduling activities, maintaining meticulous documentation, and ensuring compliance with service-level agreements established with Claims partners. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with technology to handle multiple deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills to coordinate with attorneys, court reporters, external parties, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth case progression and adherence to all procedural requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong typing speed and accuracy
  • Proficiency with case management or task-based systems such as TeamConnect
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative under attorney guidance
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously
  • Experience with heavy scheduling and coordination
  • Legal administrative experience, preferably in insurance defense or litigation support
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technology tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), including coordinating with attorneys, court reporters, and involved parties
  • Manage high-volume calendaring, including scheduling, rescheduling, and closing out events efficiently
  • Maintain and update case information within TeamConnect and other relevant systems
  • Enter and manage case data such as pleadings, motions, correspondence, and EUO documentation accurately
  • Prepare and track correspondence, ensuring proof of delivery for all communications
  • Maintain organized and comprehensive case files, documenting all tasks and activities
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and service-level timelines with Claims partners
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, internal teams, and external parties to facilitate case coordination
  • Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys, including managing schedules and deadlines
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks
