- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, or general administrative work, OR one (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2)
- One (1) year of experience with Microsoft software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- One (1) year of experience in composing, formatting, proofreading, and editing professional correspondence and documents
- Ability to promote and support a respectful, equitable, and inclusive workplace for all employees
- Ability to take action to meet the needs of others and learn and grow
- Six (6) months of experience using a ticketing system for submitting help tickets or purchase requests
- Experience coordinating travel and meeting arrangements using a Travel Expense Management System (TEMS) or similar system
- Experience managing a small vehicle fleet, including registration and maintenance schedules
- Experience interpreting and explaining Washington statutes, policies, and governing documents
- Experience coordinating and facilitating legislative and rulemaking efforts
