Account Manager - Property & Casualty
Location: Remote | Must be based in the Central or Eastern Time Zone
Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 base salary, depending on experience | Bonus and/or commission opportunity as the role grows
About the Role:
Our client, a growing insurance and financial services firm, is seeking a licensed, client-facing Account Manager to provide high-touch P&C service. This role focuses on proactive and responsive client care, including policy support, broker-of-record transitions, paperwork, and follow-up. The ideal candidate is service-minded, takes pride in doing excellent work, acts with integrity, and is eager to grow with a values-driven team.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and service a growing book of P&C clients and opportunities across individual, family, and business relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact after client introductions from advisors, leadership, or internal partners
- Support clients through policy service needs, paperwork, signatures, broker-of-record transitions, and account updates
- Deliver responsive, high-touch service to clients, helping resolve policy questions, claims-related issues, and urgent needs when they arise
- Communicate effectively with clients, carrier contacts, and internal team members to keep requests moving forward
- Coordinate closely with the team to ensure client needs are handled accurately, promptly, and with strong follow-through
- Maintain organized documentation of client communications, policy updates, service requests, and next steps within internal systems
- Represent the firm professionally with clients, referral partners, carriers, and other external contacts
- Contribute to smoother systems and workflows as the P&C platform grows and client volume increases
- Support the firm’s relationship-first approach through polished communication, strong attention to detail, and a service-minded presence
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Property & Casualty license required
- 3+ years of experience in a P&C account management, insurance service, or client support role preferred
- Experience supporting clients in an insurance agency, brokerage, financial services firm, or similar environment
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients and taking ownership of follow-up
- Strong organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage fluctuating client volume and prioritize urgent needs when they arise
- Service-minded, professional, and warm in client interactions
- Strong common sense and ability to solve problems without needing heavy oversight
- Comfortable working remotely and independently while staying closely connected to the team
- Sales experience is welcome but not required
- Interest in growing with the business over time
